Hi, I’m Erica, proud owner of Kaybets Grooming Parlour, based in my purpose-built grooming studio at my family home in Killinghall, on the outskirts of Harrogate.

My passion for dog grooming began at an early age, helping my Nana in the original Kaybets Grooming Parlour in Cardiff — so you could say dog grooming truly runs in my blood!

​

In 2018, I decided to take a sabbatical from my career in estate agency to follow my true passion and retrain as a professional dog groomer. I was fortunate to train at the prestigious Look North Grooming School, learning alongside award-winning groomers Zoe Duffy and Joanne Angus.

After achieving my City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 Dog Grooming Qualifications, I was delighted to reopen Kaybets here in Harrogate — honouring my Nana’s legacy while bringing her beloved business into a new chapter.

​

I am also Canine First Aid trained and have completed Reiki Level 1, as well as attending workshops in Canine Massage and Tellington TTouch. These skills allow me to create a calm, relaxing experience for every dog, ensuring they not only look their best but also feel completely at ease during their groom.

to provide every dog with the highest standard of care, comfort, and styling in a friendly, safe, and stress-free environment.
